Stateline

On the Nevada - California Border

Stateline, Nevada, named for its location bordering South Lake Tahoe and California. Stateline’s population is less than 900, but the town comes alive during the year’s peak periods, considering its convenient location for visitors. Stateline has four casino resorts: Bally’s, Harrah’s, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe, and Harveys Lake Tahoe. The Edgewood Tahoe Resort golf course lies along the shoreline and Heavenly Mountain Resort ski is on the California–Nevada border. Kingsbury Grade is also located within Stateline, which runs up and over a mountain pass, rising from Lake Tahoe and dropping down to the Carson Valley on the other side. You’ll never run out of things to do in Stateline.

There are many tax benefits to becoming a Nevada resident, including no personal income tax, no corporate income tax, no gross receipts tax, no franchise tax, no inventory tax, and no tax on the issuance of corporate shares (plus, no requirements of shareholders and directors to live in Nevada, and no tax on sale or transfer of shares), as well as no succession or inheritance with IRS, and low property taxes.
